Female rock group CHATMONCHY have already been announced to perform at SXSW Japan Nite in Austin, Texas, and now more of the line-up has been revealed. The event has been running for fifteen years and this is the first time that a visual kei band will make an appearance.
CHATMONCHY will be joined by all-girl punk trio Red Bacteria Vacuum, visual kei band Dolly, electro musician Omodaka, young rockers OKAMOTO'S and one more act, which is yet to be announced. Further details can be found here.
After this performance in Texas on March 19th, the Japan Nite US tour 2010 will continue with Red Bacteria Vacuum, Omodaka and OKAMOTO'S, as well as aggressive punk rookies JinnyOops! and potentially another band. They will perform in New York on March 21st, before heading onto Cambridge, Chicago, Seattle, San Fransisco and Los Angeles, where they will finish the tour on March 27th.
