Fujifabric's Frontman Masahiko Shimura Passes Away

It has been announced that Fujifabric's frontman Masahiko Shimura (vocals, guitar) died on December 24th. He was 29 years old.

The news was released on Christmas day in a message via the band's official website and label site. The cause of Shimura's death is still unknown. All the band members and staff cannot hide their sadness with this sudden announcement.

Fujifabric's appearances in the radio show RADIO CRAZY and in the countdown event COUNTDOWN JAPAN 09/10 have been cancelled. The group have asked fans to give them support and stated that the three remaining members - Daisuke Kanazawa, Shinichi Kato and Soichiro Yamauchi - will keep pursuing their musical careers in future.
