Yamashita Tomohisa, member of popular idol groups NEWS, has at last returned to the solo scene with the release a new solo single, called Loveless, on November 18th.
Yamashita's first single as a soloist was Daite Senorita, which was released in May 2006. This song was used as the theme song of the drama series "Kurosagi" and was a huge hit, selling more than 800,000 copies.
Loveless has been described as an R&B tune and will be available in three different versions. The limited type A will contain the title track and a b-side called Run From You and will also include a DVD with the PV and a making-of, lasting approximately 25 minutes. The limited type B will contain the same two songs plus two other bonus tracks and a portfolio including pictures taken by Yamashita himself. Finally, the regular version will contain Loveless and four other tracks which are different from the other two versions, including the instrumental counterpart of the title track.
In addition to this, Yamashita will hold his first solo concerts just after the single's release. He will hold a total of five performances at Yokohama Arena from November 21st to 23rd.
