GReeeeN's Guinness World Record Certification

Following an application from Chaku-Uta Full (R) to the Guinness World Records, GReeeeN have been certified as holding the current record for the "Best Selling Download Single in Japan" for the song Kiseki, which was released on May 28th 2008. According to Chaku-Uta Full, on June 28th 2009, Kiseki had topped 2.4 million downloads (in combined sales with Chaku-Uta (R) 5.9 million downloads).

Kiseki was used as the theme song to the hit drama series ROOKIES and on Chaku-Uta Full (R) became the fastest million-selling download in the website's history. Following the news that the cinematic release ROOKIES -Sotsugyou- would also feature a GReeeeN song and "collaborative" commercials featuring the song Kiseki, Chaku-Uta Full abruptly saw a surge in downloads.

On June 29th, ROOKIES actor Satou Ryuuta accepted the Guinness World Record certificate on behalf of GReeeeN.
