Namie Amuro is an undisputed force at the forefront of the Japanese pop industry and has lived up to her title of the "Queen of Hip-Pop" with the release of BEST FICTION on July 30th. BEST FICTION compiles Namie's works from her 2002 single, Wishing On The Same Star, to her latest works, including Do Me More and Sexy Girl, and maintains the #1 spot on the Oricon album chart for its third consecutive week.

BEST FICTION has established itself with the highest opening sales of this year so far, its first week totaling 681,187 sales. With this being its third week on the charts, the album has sold a staggering 1,091,734 units total and grounded itself as Namie's fifth million-seller of her career. Overall, with BEST FICTION sales so far, this reputedly makes Namie Amuro the first artist to achieve a million-selling album in her teens, 20s and 30s.
