Pop/rock band Aqua Timez will release their new single, Natsu no kakera, on October 1st. The song will be used as the theme for the upcoming movie, "Fure Fure Shoujo," which is scheduled for release in cinemas later this year.

Pop artist Hata Motohiro will release his sixth single, Forever Song, on October 1st. Few details are currently known about the release aside from the fact that the CD+DVD version of the release will include footage of "Hata Motohiro in Augusta Camp 2008." The single is also expected to include the song Daisan no otoko, which was used in a commercial for Yebisu.

Enka performer Hikawa Kiyoshi has announced the upcoming release of Aishuu no mizuumi for October 1st. The single, which will be the artist's fourteenth, will be released in CD and cassette format. Further information regarding the release has yet to be announced.
