The new Johnny's Jr. group, Hey! Say! 7, which consists of five boys, will release the single Hey! Say! on August 1st. The song will serve as the opening and ending song to the anime "Lovely Complex".
The boys of Hey!Say! 7 made their first appearance earlier this year during a concert of KAT-TUN. The name of the group is derived of the word "heisei", the era in which all members were born. The 7 was added to indicate that they formed in 2007.
Seeing as Johnny's Junior groups are basically 'trainees', it's unsure wether this is going to be an one time project only or if the boys will continue as a 'real' group.
