Amaterasu is a unit of two musicians creating a unique world from various styles including rock, pop, classical, trance and easy-listening. They work with the contradictory ideas of Oriental and Western, positive and negative, silent and moving, digital and analogue, and electric and acoustic.

Using traditional sounds, their melodies give off a distinct Japanese feel. Their style is a mixture of heavy guitar and various looped sound effects and is not simple enough to be described with just one word. Instead, it can be referred to as original Amaterasu sounds.
