The name of the band comes from the admiration The King Brothers had for The Blues Brothers even though their sound is not the same. The band is from the new wave of Japanese rock bands from the end of the 90s. Despite the fact they were pretty young, they had a good reputation among the fans of this genre.

The explosion of their career took place in the USA where they conquered a solid reputation in the underground rock scene. Their style is classified somewhere between bands like Belle and Sebastian, and the craziness of Guitar Wolf. Their live performances really made the difference that separated this band from others.
