Kalimero was an indie band, which like many bands in the visual kei scene, disbanded after only a few years.

You can compare Kalimero to bands such as MUCC, although their sound is less heavy. Almost all of their songs are written by the guitarist, Nao. Although sometimes the guitar riffs and bass might sound a little bit repetitive on their own, but Yuuki's wonderful voice makes the song interesting again.

Often the band's name is written as 'Karimero', but according the band's own merchandise, the correct spelling is 'Kalimero'.
