My Little Lover - Afureru

My Little Lover's second single is driven by feelings.

For her second single under Avex, akko teamed up with her favourite producer Kobayashi Takeshi again. The soft title tune was chosen as the theme song for the drama “Konshuu, tsuma ga uwaki shimasu.“

Afureru presents itself as longing ballad of slow pace and is brimming with feelings. The acoustic tune of the track is very good, counterbalancing this melancholy love song. The second track, Koi no dé jà vu, is a much more cheerful love song, filled with delight due to its bright keyboard chords and the vocals. Through the funky bass and guitar beats, the track remains lighthearted - exactly the right thing for late springtime. You can listen to the subsequent instrumental versions and hear the beautiful atmospheric structure of the title song clearly.

Afureru unites two outstanding songs on one single CD; the tracks are entertaining for young and old. Despite of the language barrier, you're able to feel the emotions My Little Lover is trying to convey, and you can drift away on these songs.
