Susumu Yokota is a prolific electronic music composer from Japan. He has attracted international success and made a strong name for himself domestically as well.

His style is something that changes rapidly from album to album, incorporating elements from several genres including, but not limited to, techno, dance, classical, muzak, jazz and rock. Outside of his own career, he is also known for remixing tracks by artists such as Dir en grey and The Cinematic Orchestra, as well as collaborations with rock musicians like Rothko.
