Violet UK is neither a color nor a country; the "UK," in this case, actually stands for "Underground Kingdom." Founded by X JAPAN leader YOSHIKI, its genre is amorphous, regularly featuring classical piano alongside drum machines, string arrangements and noise guitar. Over the years, YOSHIKI has been joined by a rotation of female vocalists, including Daughter, Nicole Scherzinger, Natalie and Sara Wallace.
