Despite Schwein's young age, the band became instantly popular due to two of their members' activity in the scene since the early 90's.

For fans of the vocalist's previous band, one could describe Schwein's sound as a mix of the visual kei bands hurts and CHELSEA. Their music includes darker, melancholy parts as well as elements of aggressive metal.
