Night Hawks

Night Hawks is a hard rock/metal band with an American sound. They were active at the end of the 80s and early 90s, when this musical style was gaining momentum in Japan. From ballads to melodic and heavy riffs, their sound is directly inspired by the famous metal bands of the 70s and 80s, such as Motley Crue and Led Zeppelin.

Mainly, two people make Night Hawks an extraordinary band. First of all is their leader Shuichi Aoki, with his powerful voice and American biker look. Second is their female lead guitarist, which was quite a rare phenomenon in Japan at that time and still is amongst metal bands.
