Chokesleeper

With their alternative pop-punk sound Chokesleeper is reminiscent of early 90's California skate-punk bands like Sublime and Sugar Ray. Because of this style Chokesleeper is a popular opening act for American skate-punk acts whenever they tour Japan.

Chokesleeper had their major breakthrough with their participation on the album A Tribute to Beck, an omnibus album which was, just as the title says, the soundtrack of the popular music anime series "Beck".
