The brainchild of SHARAM Q vocalist Tsunku, Morning Musume, has been a staple of Japanese pop for over 12 years. Known to their fans as Momusu, the female song-and-dance group has launched the careers of dozens of young idols, many of whom still work in the entertainment business today. With a lineup rotating on an off-regular basis, their classic sound and consistently fresh presence have made Momusu a household name in Japan.
