To simply say BOOWY was influential in Japan is an understatement; they captured the imaginations and hearts of an entire generation, are credited with starting the 90's band movement, and have had a lasting impact on the Japanese music scene.

The group constantly found themselves at the top of the chart with music that ranged from punk to pop rock. While BOOWY's existence may have come to an end years ago, the band, the music, and the members will likely never be forgotten.
