Gimikku was a visual kei band that, despite the fact that they seemed quite promising with their catchy music, existed for a short period only. The band mostly gained its fame from the fact that the guitarist Ayano had formed this this group after he left the band Vidoll.

Their name is easily confused with the band Gimmick, which is written in English while Ayano's band is written as 'ギミック' in Katakana.
