indies - inaktiv (2002 - 2006)

Throughout their short career, ibara remained a relatively unknown indie band. While they had a little in common with the visual kei scene and a little with the goth-punk scene, they didn't quite fit into either category and this caused difficulties in establishing themselves.

Their music is best described as a mix of metal and punk and bears some similarities with the thrash metal band Gargoyle. The voice of front man Aki is unique in many ways and so it may take some time to get used to his sound.
