Inspired by generations of British punk and garage-bands, thee michelle gun elephant emerged in Japan with a style that wasn’t quite the norm. Grunge, rock, blues and more were meshed together to create a new, different sound. It took a little while but the boys eventually rose to stardom as the country began appreciating the art behind the noise.

Yusuke’s vocals have always been on the “strong” side, going for power instead of grace. Combined with Futoshi’s riffs, it shapes the songs into what can only be described as unique.
