Wakusei established themselves as one of the forerunners in the underground punk-rock scene when they initially formed in 1995. In the following years, the group defined themselves with their evolved sound of alternative rock which took inspiration from American groups. Coupled with Kishida’s raw, yet powerful vocals and rapid guitar work, it’s no wonder that Wakusei gained considerable popularity during their time together.
