kc+loid's unique style, which incorporates dark rock with occasional pop sounds and everything in between, places them among bands who don't fit in to a set genre. The vocals are purely unlike those of any other artist; when you hear them, you know it's kc+loid. Their name, "kc+loid," represents "the scar and pain which cannot make the heart heal."
