YUKI, one of the most respected female artists in Japan, first reached her fame as the charismatic singer of the rock group Judy and Mary. Nowadays YUKI composes and writes solo music which is a little lighter. Additionally she also works as a model in different projects and has released books consisting of her drawings and thoughts.

The artist is often described as energetic and even rebellious. In her works she uses feminine elements in a sympathetic and natural way, making her easily stand out from the pop stars created by labels.
