k@mikaze played a punkish style of rock, sometimes with a trend towards pop. Although they may be considered visual kei due to the members' pasts, the band avoided the goth-punk clothing styles popular at the time, instead dressing more simply, in casual clothes with more or less matching combinations. From their inception, the band enjoyed a large and enthusiastic fan base.
