Nothing’s Carved In Stone is an alternative rock band formed by ELLEGARDEN guitarist Ubukata Shinichi in 2008. The band’s sound is best described as a combination of technical exploration and mainstream pop-rock.
The majority of the band’s lyrics are in English, dealing with serious topics such as relationships, change and the passing of time. However, the members maintain a cheerful, energetic atmosphere during their live performances that keeps the music from becoming rigid or pretentious.
