While many melodic metalcore bands nowadays have contented themselves ripping off the overly used and abused riffs of European melodic metal bands, MYPROOF have totally embraced the classic 80's heavy metal sound (such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, ) and have injected it with their love for Asian pop, ballads, anime and computer games, thus giving their sound variety and complexity that many of their contemporaries lack.
