Needless Lyrics

Needless Lyrics bestaat vooral uit leden van ACID, al is hun geluid veranderd door hun nieuwe zanger. Terwijl ACID zich concentreerde op stoere rock, benadrukt Needless Lyrics het gevoel van de mens. De muziek heeft als doel de luisteraar te ontroeren. Door het dagelijks leven op een inspirerende manier aan te spreken is hun geluid relatief breed, van rock tot ballads, en bevat meer piano, akoestische gitaar en strijkinstrumenten.

After the band ACID stopped activities after their last live on September 26, 2008, three of its members – Amari Yuta, Satou Daisuke and Hayakawa Seiichiro – made a new start and formed Needless Lyrics in March of 2009. Sakagami Mizuki (ex-e.mu) joined them as their new vocalist.

Early on they released the song Sharirariraretta on the Internet, and it won first place in the Oricon Indies Full, a ring tone download service. They followed up with a second song, Period, which also won first place. After an in-store live on May 23, they released their first album, Needless Lyrics, on May 13. It was followed by their first live, NEEDFUL THINGS at Omotesando FAB two weeks later.

Starting in July they began a series of lives to be held each month: Needles Lyrics monthly one-man live "Utsuri yuku kisetsu no naka de". These lives are scheduled into the fall.
