JILL CHRIST

Since their activities in 2008, there has been no more news on this four-member visual kei band. When first announced, JILL CHRIST was highly anticipated due to the line-up's former bands. As a result, their one release had influences from the members' previous experiences with their respective bands creating a heavy, electronic but melodious sound.

The formation of indies visual kei band JILL CHRIST was announced in the beginning of 2008. It is known as the band made up of ex-Phantasmagoria’s drummer Matoi, ex-Karen’s vocalist Nao and bassist Takaya. They added guitarist SHINYA to the band and started with their first showcase live at the end of April, performing along with UNDERCODE bands. The band debuted featuring a heavier melodic sound with an electronic touch.

Their first official live, however, wasn’t until a week later on May 5th. For the rest of the year, JILL CHRIST seems to have only performed a few special shows. Their first and only release so far was chrism...code46358 which came out on April 18th.

At the moment, there has been no news regarding JILL CHRIST's activities since 2008. SHINYA and are still active in the band dlocy. However, there has not been any news from the other two members. Hopefully we can expect a surprise release in the future!
