Though Raphael was a rather famous visual kei band, the name is virtually unknown to most newer visual kei fans. The band took their name from the healing angel Raphael and based their concept on the idea of healing through music.

Featuring great compositions characterized by Yuki's wonderful vocals, their upbeat music was a change in the dark world of visual kei.
