Anli Pollicino

Anli Pollicino is a young visual kei band who cite their key influences as Marilyn Manson, Evanescence, L'arc~en~Ciel and Siam Shade. This has accumulated into a collection of songs ranging from typically Japanese light rock to more gothic, theatrical styles. The constant factor in their music though, is catchiness, solid riffs and high quality vocals from Shindy.

In 2006, Anli Pollicino was formed by Kiyozumi who asked Shindy to join his new band. Shindy in turn invited Takuma. The following year in August, guitarist Yohichi joined, and a year after that in the same month, bassist Masatoshi joined the band, completing the quintuplet.

Soon after the band started playing lives to gain popularity. In November 2009 their first mini-album, Fahrenheit31, was released and immediately received attention from a European label.

The label discovered the talent and ambition that lay within and have offered them not only to release their album in Europe, but to do an intensive European tour. This tour starts on May 12th in France and ends June 6th in Germany, visiting Switzerland, Spain, Belgium and the Netherlands in between.
