Indies Oshare kei quartet bis were formerly a Visual Kei band before they decided to change style, moving into Oshare kei with their hard, punky rock sound. They were detached from the typical sugary-cute oshare style but were instead positively "cool". Their music and style were also seen as edgy, as one could note from both their music and amusing CD covers, which for three successive singles featured a string of semi-naked men.

Composition of bis's music was shared between Shunsuke and Tsukasa, with contribution from Maru on 'Go..' (Freestyle Rock), while Maru penned all the lyrics with occasional help from Shunsuke.
