V6 was created in 1995 by the famous male idols management company, Johnny's, which also created many well-known names such as Hikaru Genji, SMAP, KinKi Kids, ARASHI, Tokio, etc. V6 is more than just a singing group because they also dance, perform acrobatics and even do magic tricks during their lives, among other things. They even have their own TV shows, including the popular and hilarious "Gakkou e Ikou!" ("Let's go to school!"), have their own movies and even a video game. This group of six guys are sometimes divided into two sub-groups, known as 20th Century or Tonisen with the three older members, Sakamoto, Nagano, and Inohara, while Coming Century or Kamisen come with the younger members, Morita, Miyake, and Okada.
