R'n'B singer BENI will release a cover album on March 23rd.
Aptly titled COVERS, the album will feature new versions of songs by male Japanese artists. BENI has previously performed live covers of songs sung in English, but due to popular request, she has now recorded her first album of Japanese cover songs.
The hit songs chosen have been given a fresh edge with new arrangements and feature a range of older and more recent hits. Covered songs include Hitomi wo tojite by Hirai Ken, Ti Amo by EXILE, TRUE LOVE by Fujii Fumiya, Sou (nande) by Sukima Switch and Itoshii no Ellie by Southern All Stars. The CD will feature a total of thirteen tracks, though one song has yet to be finalised.
