the HIATUS, led by ELLEGARDEN's vocalist Hosomi Takeshi, announced the release of their first EP single, called Insomnia, for November 18th.

the HIATUS was formed a few months after ELLEGARDEN entered a pause back in September 2008. So far, the project has already released the chart-topping album Trash We'd Love in May this year and perfomed in several festivals. Their newest performances will be held as a two-man tour with fellow rock band STRAIGHTENER. It will be called BRAIN ECLIPSE TOUR and will consist of seven concerts between November and December.

Insomnia, which will go on sale almost six months after Trash We'd Love, will contain three brand-new songs: the title track and the b-sides Curse of mine and Antibiotic.
