mihimaru GT

mihimaru GT is a two-person group signed with the major record label Universal Music Japan. Made up of composer, lyricist and vocalist Miyake and vocalist/lyricist Hiroko, the duet have tried their hand at fusing an urban sound with more traditional J-pop elements.

Both members are involved in the song-writing process, with Hiroko often responsible for the melodies and Miyake featuring prominently in the rap sections of their songs.

With their seamless transitions between slow-paced ballads and upbeat anthems, mihimaru GT's popularity has soared in more recent years and seems set to continue into the future.
