Ichigo69, (the '69' is pronounced similarly to the English word 'rock,' which gave the name the meaning 'strawberry rock') was an oshare kei band with a slightly punk feel that debuted on the scene in September of 2004. Despite their colorful, energetic look and feel, they lasted just barely over a year; a fate that has become unfortunately all too common in the genre.
