Daishi rose to fame as the vocalist for the popular cosplay band Psycho le Cemu, but after a series of unfortunate events, he went on to become a solo artist under his full name, Kajinaga Daishi.

In stark contrast to the cheerful pop-rock of his former band, Daishi’s solo work is often dark and emotional, with lyrics that delve into personal themes such as drug use and juvenile delinquency. While he also sings more upbeat rock songs, they often involve rougher vocals and an almost sleazy rock and roll attitude that he rarely exhibited in Psycho le Cemu.

However, no matter what type of music he sings, Daishi’s powerful, expressive voice continues to amaze his fans.
