Already talented from a young age, Miura Daichi started his music career as a child. Unlike many of these child talents that fade from the music industry when they grow older, Daichi made his come-back several years later as a solo artist in his own right, still sporting the same talent for singing and dancing as he had when he was a child.

His music has a catchy R&B and pop sound and due to his skillful dance moves, he has often been compared to the late Michael Jackson, whose songs he has also covered.
