Zy 40: miyavi
COUNTERATTACK FROM FAR EAST TO THE WORLD

You released two live DVDs, Official Bootleg The Beginning Of NEO VISUALIZM Tour 2007 -FINAL- @ SHINKIBA STUDIO COAST and The Beginning Of NEO VISUALIZM TOUR 2007 Gekokujou Live at Shibuya Kokaido (C.C. Lemon Hall) on the same day. The lives had different meanings, but why did you release two DVDs?
miyavi: Well, I wasn't going to release the Shinkiba one at first. I just shot it to check our performance.
Really?
miyavi: So, it was released exactly as it was shot, and we couldn't mix the sounds well, but it was very good, so I did it. (laugh) Shinkiba was my idea really, so when we checked the live images we said, "Let's release this one too!" (laugh) Well, it had a good groove and I like that venue too.
You are talking about Shinkiba Coast?
miyavi: Yeah. And it also features a jam session that I couldn't do in Shibuya as we didn't have time. Because of that, the live in Shibuya was different, I think.
It was your first time playing there since your first live concert, right?
miyavi: Yes, yes, it was hard. The rehearsal was quite long too. With Shibuya Kokaido, we tried to entertain more rather than do a so-called concert. With Shinkiba Coast, we did it like, "It's just a live" with a jam session. In Shibuya, we challenged ourselves to be more synchronized, which was something we wanted to do after finishing Shinkiba. We tried to change our stage effects to be more specialized, but the stage direction was difficult.
Really? I thought it was great.
miyavi: I thought it was a little bit different from what I had tried to do with KAVKI BOIZ. Performing in a free environment is the biggest charm of those guys. Well, it is something that we will have to work on, but it is a little difficult to have a jam session when everything is synchronized.
