DEEP, formerly known as COLOR, makes music that can mostly be described as sensitive R&B and soul ballads combined with melodious polyphonic men's singing. The four vocalists of the group are the Japanese version of Boyz II Men.

The group often collaborates with other artists, and so they mix their music with other style elements like hip-hop, for example. Many of their songs were used in TV productions or dramas.
