In 1993 Ken Ishii debuted with Belgian label R&S Records. Since then, he has released many albums and received even more rewards, among them for being the best composer for a movie and the best techno-DJ. He created his own label 70 Drums and conquered the world techno scene.

In his works, he never restricts himself to only one style, constantly adding new elements, which explains why many critics call him a pioneer of the Japanese dance scene. 2/3 of the time, Ken Ishii is traveling, participating in world-famous parties and events, though he never forgets to come back to Japan with his new sets, where he is just as adored.
