Satsuki’s former band RENTRER EN SOI was formed in 2001. They gained popularity in the visual scene and performed overseas a few times receiving more and more attention until they disbanded in December of 2008.
Immediately after the disbandment, Satsuki opened up his own official website and from there he announced his first solo release. To date, Satsuki has four single releases and one mini-album release, titled UPPER REGION. He performs frequently with a support band at visual kei live events and headlines his own live events all over Japan.
Satsuki has appeared at anime conventions such as Anime Expo in the US as part of his solo career. Also from early 2011 he launched his new overseas unit Moon Stream, with Tomo Asaha of the Japanese but US-based band echostream.
In August 2011, Satsuki announced his participation in KISAKI's solo project KISAKI PROJECT feat. Satsuki. A single release titled Shouei is scheduled for November 1st.
Satsuki has many activities outside of singing which include acting in theater and film and now hosting a visual kei oriented variety show called "VisuBara."
For the future, the talented singer has performances with KISAKI PROJECT feat. SATSUKI scheduled as well as an appearance with Moon Stream at Anime Weekend Atlanta in the United States in September.
After his success as a vocalist with visual rock band RENTRER EN SOI, vocalist Satsuki moved on to his solo career, focusing more on his musical concept. The main concept his music presents is that singing purifies the soul.
Satsuki sings using his voice and words to shine light on the souls that are filled with darkness and hesitation, guiding them to the future. Satsuki is also active currently with Moon Stream and KISAKI PROJECT feat. SATSUKI.
