Pop singer Tsuruno Takeshi, also known as a TV personality and member of popular group Shuchishin, has set the release of his first solo live DVD for February 24th.

Tsuruno Takeshi kicked off his solo career with the release of two cover albums, Tsuruno uta and Tsuruno oto, which together have sold over 500,000 copies. The singer has also performed a solo gig at the big Yoyogi Daiichi Taiikukan and held his first nationwide tour, with eight sold-out concerts.

Tsuruno iro, as the DVD is called, will feature footage from his performances at Tokyo Kokusai Forum Hall A and Fukuoka Shimin Kaikan, which marked the end of his domestic tour. Scenes from the show in Yoyogi, titled Tsuruno Takeshi Kanshasai ~Tsuruno ongaeshi~, and a documentary have also been reported to be included on the disc.

It was also announced that this may be the last chance fans will get to see Takeshi singing covers live, since the singer plans to release an original album this year.
