Legendary rock/punk band THEE MICHELLE GUN ELEPHANT have planned the release of their official movie, THEE MICHELLE GUN ELEPHANT "THEE MOVIE" -LAST HEAVEN 031011-, as both DVD and Blu-ray for February 17th.
In November last year, TMGE announced the launch of several new projects in collaboration with labels Universal and Columbia Music, such as a compilation and a special box DVD. Another one of these projects was the movie, which was first screened in the Sezon Shibuya theater, in Tokyo, on December 19th.
THEE MICHELLE GUN ELEPHANT "THEE MOVIE" -LAST HEAVEN 031011- includes footage of TMGE's last live, held at Makuhari Messe in October 2003, reproduced with up-to-date technology. The movie also includes a documentary with behind-the-scenes and never before seen footage.
