According to their official site, Dragon Head had already formed in 1990, an obvious lie considering the members' ages. However, it was only in 2002 that they played their first live. Their first demo, kono omoi todokimasuka... Dragon, was released on July 1st, 2003. However, the band announced on the very next day that they were splitting up.
In 2004, they returned with a new CD and a new DVD containing a PV, both titled kono omoi todokimasuka... Dragon and distributed at a live on March 3rd.
Not long afterwards, in May 2004, Dragon Head's official site was closed, announcing the group's disbandment. The very same three members of Kagrra, started another side project, Devil Christ 13, soon after.

Although this project consisted of three of Kagrra,'s members, their style was very different from Kagrra,'s. Actually, it even seems that the band was not a serious project at all, but more something to occupy Nao, Akiya and Izumi's time; a way for them to relax by playing what was, compared to Kagrra,'s music, rather simple, though catchy, rock tunes.
